The removal of forests in the United States, Canada, and almost all of Europe has been cut down for one great reason, fuel. Although one of the greatest impacts has been in North America, not only for fuel but clearing land for farming, and building materials. The main cause of deforestation in North America is done politically and economically. Politically because of nuclear wars that cause drainage in the land and kills off every living thing present. The reason behind North America being politically deforested is because of the large amount of poverty which leads to illegal cutting of the forests. Illegal cutting has been heavily increasing due to the large amount of poverty. Deforestation is economically caused in North America because businesses insist on being on top of every other business causing them to cut down their natural resources. They are clearing our the forest for drug use, paper, and using fuel wood.
